Each character also sits on its own franchise page: kids' Disney costumes, Disney princess dresses, Frozen costumes for Elsa and Anna, kids' Transformers costumes, kids' Power Rangers costumes, kids' LEGO costumes, and kids' Minecraft costumes for the blocky jumpsuits. Grown-ups dressing as the same cast find their sizes on our adult film character costumes page.

Sizes, packs, and occasions
Sizing runs by age, 3 to 4 years up to X-Large (12 to 14), and not every character runs the full ladder, so trust the product page's size list and size up for a tall child. Every costume goes through over 30 measurement checks. Characters born in books also count for our kids' World Book Day costumes. Fabric costumes take a cold hand wash and an air dry; the inflatable takes a sponge wipe with the fan pack removed.
Frequently asked questions
Which film and TV characters do you make kids' costumes for?
Disney princesses, Elsa and Anna, Mirabel, Moana, Minnie Mouse, four Stranger Things characters, the Ghostbusters Afterlife Muncher, Transformers, Luigi, Minecraft, Tails, and storybook characters such as the chocolate factory owner.
Are these the real character designs or lookalikes?
Each product page states whose character it is and who made the costume, so check there before you buy. The chocolate factory owner, the tin boy, and the little hatter are our own designs based on the character's look, with no franchise name in the title.
What size should I buy for my child?
Go by age, then check the size guide against your child's height; a tall six-year-old is often happier in a Medium.
What comes with a kids' character costume?
Disney dresses are usually the dress alone; Minnie Mouse adds the ears headband; the Chocolate Factory Owner adds a shirt insert, neck bow, and top hat; each jumpsuit character lists whether a mask, hood, or headpiece comes with it; the inflatable comes with its fan, without batteries.
Can my child wear a film character costume for World Book Day?
Yes, if the character exists in a book. Frozen, Encanto, Moana, and the Disney princesses have picture-book versions, and the chocolate factory owner and the tin boy come from children's novels. Check your school's rules.
