Halloween Capes and Cloaks
Our Halloween capes finish a costume you already own: a black-and-red vampire cape with a high collar, a black hooded cape, short superhero capes in red or blue, a self-tie red riding hood cape, a faux-fur-trimmed cloak, and a red king's cloak. Each is one adult size and goes on over your own clothes.

Cape or Cloak, Hood or Collar
A fancy dress cape hangs from the shoulders and is usually open at the front; a cloak is the longer version that wraps the body, often with a hood. Ours fasten at the neck with a tie or a clip, or drape on with no fastening; none is cut to a chest measurement. Every one is a single adult size; capes run from short to full length, stated on each product page.
Every costume goes through over 30 measurement checks, and care is a cold hand wash and an air dry.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a cape and a cloak?
Length and coverage. A cape can be anything from hip to ankle length and is usually open at the front; a cloak is long and wraps around the body, often with a hood. Our vampire cape and king's cloak are both full length, so the names overlap.
Are Halloween capes one size?
Ours are. Every cape and cloak above is one adult size, tied, clipped, or draped at the neck rather than cut to a chest measurement. Check the product page for the length.
Do I need a hood or a collar?
Pick by character. A high collar reads as a vampire; a hood reads as red riding hood, a witch, or a reaper; superheroes wear a short cape with no hood. The black hooded cape covers most of these, hood up or down.
What do you wear under a Halloween cape?
Plain clothes in the character's colour: black trousers and a shirt under a vampire or hooded cape, a fitted top and leggings under a superhero cape, a dress under a riding hood cape, a suit under the king's cloak.
Do you sell kids Halloween capes?
Our capes and cloaks are cut for adults. For children, our capes come inside full costumes: our kids Halloween costumes and kids fairy tale costumes pages hold them, and all of our kids' products are safety tested by accredited labs.
How do I wash a costume cape?
Hand wash only, cool to cold water, then air dry flat or on a hanger, as each product page states. Fasten the clip on the king's cloak first so it does not snag.
