How our inflatable costumes work
Every design here falls into one of three shapes. A one-piece suit turns you into the whole creature, a ride-on puts a body around your front and back so it looks like you are being carried or ridden, and a pick-me-up style makes it look like a character is scooping you up. All three run the same setup: step in, zip or seal up, switch the fan on, and it inflates in well under a minute. Keep it running and the shape holds; turn it off and it folds flat for the walk home. The costumes we feature here are designed with the head free, rather than the standard cellophane-window approach that fogs up and muffles your voice within minutes: your face stays open to the air, so you can talk, eat and drink without breaking the illusion.

Every product page states its own size range, and it is worth checking before you order rather than assuming "one size" covers everyone. Some of our adult styles give a specific height range, like the 5'4" to 6'4" on the astronaut pick-me-up above; others are cut to fit most adult builds without a numbered range at all. Kids' sizing runs by height too, not by age alone, so measure before you buy if your child is on the tall or small side for their age.
