Adult Morphsuits are the full-body version of the original Morphsuit, the stretchy, head-to-toe bodysuit we started making in 2009, sized for men and women rather than kids, in solid colours, patterns, and character designs. Every one of them is cut from the same 91% polyester, 9% elastane stretch fabric, with a woven mesh panel over the eyes and mouth so you can see, breathe, and drink without ever taking the mask off.

That last part sounds like a small detail until you have spent six hours in one at a stag do. It is the difference between fancy dress you can only wear for a few minutes and one you can wear all night.

Choose by style, not just colour

The range splits four ways. Fit and fabric are the same across all of them, so what you are really choosing is what gets printed on it. Solid colour Morphsuits are the plain originals, black through to gold, good for anything from a works party to a stag weekend where the whole group has to match. Pattern Morphsuits cover checks, tuxedos, and the Jamaican bobsleigh suit, for a costume with the joke built in. Superhero Morphsuits carry our Power Rangers range, where the colour you pick does the explaining for you. The Mens Blue Morphsuit Costume is the plain original: same stretch fabric and mesh mask as the rest of the range, nothing to explain on the night, in M to XXL.

For a costume nobody has to ask about, the Green Power Ranger Morphsuit prints the ranger head to toe, in the same M to XXL sizing as the plain suits.

Patterns sit in between: the Black and White Check Morphsuit puts the check straight onto the same lightweight, four-way stretch fabric, in M to XXL.

After dark, the Glow Skeleton Morphsuit earns its keep: the bones are printed in a paint that charges under light and keeps glowing once the lights are off, in M to XXL.

The decision most people get wrong

The character and pattern suits fit exactly the same as the plain ones. Every design in this range goes through over 30 measurement checks, whatever ends up printed on it, so a Power Rangers suit still runs M to XXL, the same as the plain blue one. Choose on height and weight against the size chart, not on dress size, and resist the size up "just in case": the fabric is built to stretch to you.

So the choice between a plain suit and a printed one is not a choice about fit or comfort, only about how you want to look. Worth knowing: the plain solid-colour originals are roughly half of what this range sells, by value. If you are kitting out a group, that is one easy option, a colour each, nothing to explain, everyone matches.

No. Every adult Morphsuit here runs M to XXL. The sizes are set by height and weight against the size chart, not dress size, so check yourself against the chart instead of guessing from what you usually wear.

What do you wear underneath a Morphsuit?

Close-fitting underwear or base layers, and not much else. The fabric is cut to stretch over your own shape, so a baggy layer underneath only fights the stretch.

Can you drink in a Morphsuit without taking the mask off?

Yes. The mesh over the mouth is woven to let liquid through, so a drink goes through it and the mask stays on, and the print still looks solid from the outside.

Can you see out of a Morphsuit?

Yes, though vision through the mesh is softer than bare-faced, especially in low light, so take a little more care on kerbs, steps and stairs after dark.

How do you wash a Morphsuit?

A cold hand wash and an air dry. No washing machine, no tumble dryer.
