Our adult range covers two builds: inflatables lit by a vest or a glowing face, and a traditional costume set with a light-up mask.

Step into the Black Light Up Inflatable Megamorph and the built-in fan fills out a larger-than-life fat suit in seconds, while the included light vest adds a bright glow on top. It runs for up to 4 hours on 4 AA batteries (not included), fits most adults in one size, and comes with a mask, gloves and socks. For a spookier glow, the Inflatable Halloween Costume Light Up Purple Ghoul wires its LEDs straight into the ghoul mask, so the face itself glows. The fan and elasticated seals keep it fully inflated for the night, it runs over 4 hours on 4 AA batteries (not included), and a built-in pocket holds your phone.

Away from the inflatables, the Mens Scary Jester Light Up Costume pairs a diamond-print top and trousers with a light-up mask for a theatrical rather than a blown-up look. It comes as a full set with tie, belt and gloves, in sizes Medium to XXL.

Kids light-up costumes

The kids' range comes in two forms: a light-up accent on a standard costume, and a full inflatable with the same fan-powered build as the adult styles.

The Kids Grim Reaper Light Up Costume keeps the glow closer to the face: battery-operated red LED glasses come with a ragged hooded robe, a three-part scythe and a detachable chain. It comes in four sizes, from Small (4-6 years) to XL (12-14 years).

Younger trick-or-treaters get the same inflatable trick with the Kids Light Up Ghoul Pick Me Up Inflatable Costume, worn over their normal clothes with a built-in fan for the carry-me illusion. It is sized by height, fitting children between 120cm and 155cm (3'11" to 5'3").

Battery life, sizing and care

Every costume we sell, light-up included, goes through over 30 measurement checks, part of the more than 500,000 quality checks we run across the range each year. On the light-up styles specifically, the fan-powered inflatables run for up to 4 hours on a fresh set of 4 AA batteries, which are never included, so it is worth keeping a spare set in. Battery packs and light units come out before any hand wash, and every costume needs air drying rather than a tumble dryer. Can I wash a light-up costume?

Hand wash only. Take out the battery pack and any light unit first, then let the costume air dry fully before you store it away.

Are light-up costumes safe for kids to wear in the dark?

The LED glow genuinely helps a child stand out on a dark street. It is a costume accent though, not a safety light, so the usual rules still apply: stick to well-lit routes, cross with an adult, and keep the group close.
