So have you binge-watched the new Daredevil show yet? If not, you were probably out, doing something productive or…whatever it is normal people do. But trust us, this is probably one of the greatest shows to ever grace our TVs. To prove it, we’ve put together a list of reasons why you need to add Daredevil to your list of shows to watch at your next binge session (or you could watch one episode a week but where’s the fun in that?)

Matt Murdock

This guy may be no Tony Stark, Hulk or Captain America, but that’s what we love about him. He’s literally a normal guy with heightened senses just trying to do the right thing and protect his city. He’s relatively normal compared to the heroes we’re used to reading about and watching in the cinema. I mean, he even has a full time job as a lawyer. Plus, with Charlie Cox’s acting you cant help but find Murdock awesome.

Those fight scenes, though!

You would think that as a marvel TV show, this would have some epic fighting scenes showing off the hero’s superpowers and bleeding the show dry with all the special effects. Well, you’re wrong- I mean it’s still epic, but in the show, he mostly does close combat which requires no special effects. Yet the fight scenes are still so. Frickin’. Awesome!

It’s surprisingly down to earth

Like we said, Murdock is refreshingly normal for a marvel superhero. But not just him, the people around him are too. Foggy, Claire- they’re all friends of Murdock with their own problems to deal with too.

Wilson Fisk

How Marvel manages to make the villains so appealing, we’ll never know. But what we do know, is that despite the fact that Wilson Fisk is slightly crazy, there’s something about him that makes him likeable. Maybe almost as much as Murdock!

Of course, there are many more reasons but we’ll let you find those out for yourself- trust us, you won’t regret watching this show!
