Fantastic Beasts and All You Need To Know to Find Them
When Harry’s time in the public eye faded in 2011, the MorphCostumes office shed a tear or two… Or a bucket full. We have been saving to go across the pond to the Universal Studios’ Wizarding World since it was announced in 2010 but we don’t think we can ever save enough galleons – it would all go in the gift shop and the Butterbeer stalls.
When Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them was announced, it’s safe to say that we were rather excited – like Dobby with new socks. The first teaser was announced and we screamed on the train into work and start tearing up whenever we hear Hedwig’s Theme playing behind the trailers. No joke.
This film takes place in America during 1926 and encounters an atmosphere that hasn’t yet been looked into. But with J.K Rowling herself at the helm of the script, we aren’t scared of walking to unmarked territory. J,K has made it rather comfy too with thanks to Pottermore, the online forum she created to give Potterheads more without giving them another book. We were able to find out about Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the turbulent relationship between Wizard and No-Maj (American word for Muggle), the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA for short), and we got a glimpse into Newt’s suitcase.
Okay, strap in – this is going to be a long one. Can the 18 of November please hurry up? We want to see this film!!!
